Suunto Observer combines an altimeter, a barometer, and an electronic compass with all the features of a sophisticated sportswatch. The Observer is 1/3 smaller than all previous Suunto Wristop Computers and sports an improved logbook that allows the user "instant access" to information while the watch continues to record. The watch is available in either stainless steel or titanium and is considered the most advanced outdoor watch currently available on the world market.

Observer Watch Features: • Day, time, and date • Three daily alarms • Stopwatch • Countdown timer Observer Altimeter Features: • A range up to 9,000 meters • Adjustable altitude alarm • 24 hours of logbook memory - improved logbook stores up to 40,000 ft. of data • Ability to measure ascent and descent rates between stages with altitude simultaneously all by one button access Observer Barometer Features: • Absolute/Sea Level given in mbar or inHG • Difference measurement for barometric changes • Four-day automatic memory keeps the user one step ahead of the storm Observer Compass Features: • A bubble level for accurate reading within two degrees • Declination adjustment function to correct the difference between true north and magnetic north - uses global needle • Bearings can be taken in degrees and cardinal points Other Features: • Electroluminescent backlight • Temperature compensation • Waterproof to 100m/330 ft • Maximum battery life 18 months • Low battery indicator • User-replacable battery
